I enjoy working collaboratively with adults to help them achieve their goals to be healthier and happier. I do this by trying to truly understand and connect with your experience so that I can “walk alongside” you, guiding you to resolve your inner struggles.
You can expect therapy to begin with an evaluation process. I encourage you to share what is motivating you to come to therapy. Then I ask more questions so that I can get to know you as a whole person – though I encourage you to only share what is comfortable for you. With a detailed understanding of your problem and a broader understanding of you as a whole person, I tailor the treatment to you.
Although your initial phone call is not a therapy session, it is an important part of the assessment process. It is a free consultation that will enable us both to decide whether we are a good enough fit to proceed to scheduling an appointment.
I offer online therapy (through secure video conferencing) for people who reside in New Jersey, New York, and 26 other states. This service is available for patients who are not able to travel to my office on a temporary or ongoing basis. I also offer this service for women who struggle emotionally during their pregnancy or after childbirth, and who are not able or ready to leave home, click here.
Health Insurance: Please note that I am not on any insurance panels, and so I am an out-of-network provider. Patients are responsible for paying my fee at the time of service, though they can receive insurance reimbursements if they have out-of-network benefits. Please feel free to call me to discuss my fee and your insurance carrier to discuss your coverage and any other related matters.
